Welcome to the first edition of our Calendar of Extraordinary Women for 2022 in collaboration with Canon – Avantech, Intercomp, Interspar and Brown’s.
What is extraordinary about these women? From our part these women have impressed us with their ability to inspire, motivate and empower. They are “ordinary” women doing extraordinary things and making Malta a better place. Women who through their own experiences and actions have left their mark on others. Some we knew personally; others were brought to our attention by the people whose lives these women have positively affected. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody involved in making this calendar possible. A big thank you to all the amazing and humble women who agreed to be part of the calendar. This calendar would not have been possible without the talent, vision, collaboration, and experience of seasoned photographer Therese Debono. Therese made sure all the women where extremely comfortable during the shoot and happy with their final images. It was a very emotional but inspirational and bonding experience for all of us. A big thank you to Francesca and Bianca at Alfie’s hair salon for doing the hair and make up of some of our beautiful women, and Krystle Penza at MVintage for the lovely gifts.
We look forward to this calendar becoming a yearly fundraising project whereby every year we will continue to showcase inspirational women. We hope you will join us in supporting this initiative by hanging this calendar in a prominent position within your home or office setting to further promote and create awareness about the important work of the Women for Women Foundation.
