12 Nov Deborah’s Story
Deborah has had a traumatic childhood. She was brought up in care because both her parents had substance abuse problems. She suffers from severe anxiety and has been under psychiatric care since she was a child. Deborah is a single mother and has a young child from a dysfunctional long term relationship, she is also a survivor of cancer. Deborah is hard working, intelligent, very motivated and a very good mother to her child. She has managed to secure a safe and stable home for her and her child and is completing a course that will guarantee her a career and a job. With the help and guidance of her social worker we have helped her to furnish her home, provided her with the equipment she needs for her and her child to continue with their education. Deborah is managing against all odds and is looking forward to graduate and to start working. She is also looks forward to having some free time to volunteer with the Women for Women Foundation. Your donations will help women like Deborah secure a better brighter more stable future for themselves and their children.
